• Take a break! Then continue user testing, work out UI interactions, and visual design.

Here a small sample of where I plan on heading with the visual design of Gather next year. I want to create a bit more texture but I am much happier with the color scheme.

Learned how to create a Gnatt Chart using the Gnatt Project software. Glad to finally have the end of my thesis and masters in sight!

I have done some online/remote user testing on both my online prototype and my Drupal functional prototype. The information that I have gathered so far has been that I need to really streamline the navigation, make buttons larger and more clear, and add a lot more functionality to the map.

Next up is in person user testing sessions, I have included the test sheet with questions I want to ask my users before and after the testing session. I am aiming for employees of specialty markets like Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, Lazy Acres, Trader Joe’s, and Gelson’s.

 

Finally got around to updating the store map for my prototype and just in time for user testing. I color coded all of the departments to hopefully make it easier for the user to identify which department they are in.
