The coded Prototype version of Gather has been updated with changes from the last round of user testing. Added inventory availability, converted the aisle buttons to “view on map”, and did some design cleaning up. The screen capture was done using Quicktime and an iPhone 6 Plus.

Tracking Prototype Updates with GitHub
After having a GitHub account to watch other projects for a couple years now, I finally took the leap and began to use it as a code repository. I added my Gather project to the site and am updating changes using the terminal on my Mac. A wonderful side affect of using GitHub to store my code for this project is that I can now work on my desktop or laptop without having to keep transferring files back and forth. I wish I had done this earlier…
Mockups v2.0
After re-working my wireframes and following my updated user flows I have began to work on mockups to reflect these changes. Since I am going to build my prototype using jQuery Mobile, I now know the UI library I am working with. Trick is going to be getting my prototype to look like my finished mockups.
